Heaven Tavern - Spirit issue

I'm manually refreshing. At times i get a purple hero. My spirit increases and some of the time, a second later, the total spirit reverts back to what it was before the increase. Why is this? It happens enough that I watch each time to make sure that is what is happening, and it is.

no, there is 2 scenarios:
1) you spin too fast and it takes away the spirits you should have earned and resets to what it was before
2) you spin 3 heroes at once, it adds twice and corrects the amount by taking the additional spirits back off with a delay
