The round limit in Heroics is so unfair

It really is just cheating on the part of the game engine. I get that some battles could go on forever if the boss is a vampire, but the Golden Dragon is not and 30 rounds really is pretty damn short. I can set up the mechanics and tank the Golden Dragon, but I have to wait until I can do more damage because.....who knows exactly why? Just an arbitrary cut off point. I can see 500 rounds or even 100, but 30 is pretty short. I know it's just a game, but it's sure feels like cheating when the game just decides you lost even though you are clearly going to win in another 10 or 12 rounds. Sigh.

Because there is Maria, Khan and Penth.

Remove those 3, and you can remove the round limit and play as much as you want.

But I guarantee you'll hardly make it past round 10 or 15 w/o healing and vampire ability lol.

you clearly didn't time out 3x in a row yet with 95-98% damage done and 5 heroes standing LOL
anyways, you can look at it as a gearcheck or you can change out heroes, for example use lance instead alci or adam for example, change up forms, etc
i dont mind the round limit, i think it makes it more interesting to be honest. if there was 100 rounds possible i am pretty sure that at least half the players could complete quest and HR tomorrow.

herby is right and spot on. i would like to add that before the 30 round limit there was a 35 round limit and it got cut off by 5 rounds after khan and maria where introduced.

I understand your points completely, and I don't really disagree. I guess what I wish is that there was some mechanism that sort of explained it. After 30 rounds you get a -5% attack and defense each round until you bite it because your heroes are getting tired. I know it's kind of silly, but it just is sort of crappy that they just give up after 30 rounds. A small point, I know. And I have been trying every possible combination. I'm just not strong enough is all, but they way you lose with the cap is really....disheartening. I mean when you get pounded into the sand, yeah, okay I'm weak. But I hate it when my team just throws in the towel.

when they decreased the round limit i suggested a counter for the rounds somewhere on screen. it would explain itself and avoid most of the confusion about it

I think we've isolated the problem. I feel your pain...took me forever to beat him. 92%, then upgrades n 94%, then 95... I asked penth...she said after 30 flips, she's done. =)

Try killing past the final Ultimate hero in Heroics... Queen P and Kahn are useless. You need massive amounts of damage to beat those Heroics. If it was not for the round cap, it would be too easy with just Maria doing the healing.

I really hope they put the new plans for the next set past the Sirus bosses quickly so we can avoid this nonsense with what we just went through with Sirus patch.

OT: It really bothers me that UCool and its principles who also own other games like EVONY, Spartacus, created" an "LLC" Limited Liability Corporation for "EACH" game they produce, to try to limit the legal damage to themselves and pretty much screw players and people who invested in the game when they abandon it. Mean while they keep trolling through more new games for a fast buck instead of focusing on the longevity of one game to try and make it the best game out there.

This is complete nonsense and time will tell if this company lives up to their obligations.
