Guild ranking

Just a quick question,
how is a guilds rank decided? ..
members.. cities.. tech level? etc

Usually number of city's, then members and guild funds from what I understand

cant be that... we have guilds with less funds and less members above us.. i know its not important really.. its just me being curious lol

i believe its 'city count' over 'guild level' over 'guild funds' over 'members'.
but it really is insignificant. there is no benefits in being on top place or below. what counts is if the guild level allows you to have the techs and the cities you want/need

the tech level has to come into it somewhere right? and oh of course! its no matter as i said its pure curiosity is all..

Tech level is not counted. I believe the ranks go by: city count, guild level, members, then funds. The tech level is leveled up by investing guild funds, so could be max the guild level.

ok.. so for example purposes.. our guild is a level 9 with 98 members 12 cities 191k guild funds and level 7 techs.
we are under a level 8 guild with 98 members 12 cities 79k guild funds and level 6 techs.

maybe it goes by combined power?

sorry about the previously patronizing post, i have changed it:

just got the info that you are on one of the first 10 servers.
the only thing that i could think off is that as many other rules on servers 1-10 differ sometimes from the 11+ servers. so maybe the only rule applied here is the city count and the lower guild tied you later on. (like it is in ragna for example where the player who ties your result gets set in front of you instead of on the same rank).
... but that is only a guess and you can find out for sure if you change the city count from either

lol? after you noticed your own mistake based on other players helping you, please dont change facts and make up poor examples based on your imagination.
with your example you would have 24 cities in a game when there is only 12

yes.. we are server 1, there are 12 cities per realm. and 5 realms.
we dont play realm wars here, we play per realm. so yes.. maybe not my mistake, more your own?
