    Upgrading gear/Switching gear bug

Some time ago I think Kaisim posted a problem he had when transfering gear from one hero to another. For some reason his gear would be all messed up between his heroes for no specific reason. I think I found why.

When you upgrade your gear, the game retains two versions of your piece of equipment. The upgraded gear, and the original gear. You may notice that after upgrading, you still see the original gear on your ero. If you click your hero again, you will see the upgraded gear. The problem is that both are actually there. If you transfer gear between your heroes, something wrong is going on there and Tynon doesn't handle it properly.

To avoid this problem, after upgrading your gear (and by that I mean crafting it to a superior category), refresh your browser and the original gear will be gone.

no its not that. i stopped having that problem a while ago. i think it was based on server lag, sync error or something like that and since the game stopped being so laggy (we all had it bad back then). however i did response in a post (OP was andy i believe) once to the crafting bug that you just mentioned and suggested to refresh after every craft. it still happens and i still avoid it by refreshing. i do like to say ty for remembering and trying to fix it.

I had this problem occur for me sometime last week. Thursday and Friday I think it was.
Don't know what I did but I'm not having the problem again.
@Kaisim, it is possible that it was due to server lag, because when I had this problem happen to me a few minutes later I would get a browser fail to sync msg..
However, this doesn't explain why it would be scattered on heroes that I've never even used before >.<

No need to refresh. Just click on a different hero and then click back and you will see the upgraded gear.

Yes, you will see it, but the old one will still be there (according to the system) IN ADDITION to the new one.

yep chickenwing is right on this and i always refresh after every craft since several months now.
(with autoequip i would always have problems, maybe you dont because you move all armor by hand?)

That must be it. I never autoequip.

Auto-equip is pretty useless as designed. It will put anything on anyone without regard to what is better or whatever. A lot of the auto stuff is very basic and can actually mess you up.

i use auto equip all the times
all you have to regard is a couple things, like
    - NEVER have gear you dont use or need in your inventory or on another hero. always put unwanted gear into the bank
    - dont trade sword using heroes with staff users (or vice versa) unless you remove the staff/sword manually right after and put it into the bank
if you follow those simple rules it will exactly exchange whatever is on your current hero onto the new hero
