@Riot By very soon, I'm sure you mean couple of months because for me it will take me a good year to make a load of level 10 chips .. maybe 2 years

didnt you know that in his mind he doesnt exploit or cheat since he thinks that the "look ahead bugs" (he is exploiting) are part of the game as long as its not clearly specified in the TOS or EULA. therefore he is confident talking about it and assuming everyone else does it too.

Though for the topic, it would be damn scary to risk high lvl chips I guess you could make it so you could use gems to save the chip(s) like you do for saints. not sure of the cost that would be used.
mm, i must say that if they have increased the failure rate to induce me to buy more gems, they have failed. I no longer by gems as the chance of the sancta or stars working is less than a snowballs chance in my central heating. I am much more likely to burn notes to keep me warm than /I am to buy stars. I want at least a reasonable chance of success before i waste my money. But I guess we are all different and see things in a different way
you are misreading the intentions from ucool. it was more like a win-win. before that when you failed the medals on your hero you would loose anywhere 0-4 stars after a fail (i believe 4, 7, 9, 11, 13 where safe, or something like that). now when you fail you keep the stars on your hero, however the chance of going up is reduced. the sancts you can now stack the cards to increase your chance of going up... it all got better and easier and because of that players intend to spend more gems. many improvements in the game are like that, to make you as a player happy they hope you will spend more gems while you are moving up.
LoL, no they don't 'induce' you to buy more gems as it is entirely your choice, but please do remember that Tynon / uCool under NO circumstances whatsoever will implement something that they can't even make a cent out of!
Without us, Tynon / uCool have got no game to fund, without them making me their money they can't let their game progress / develop. We constantly nag like 5 year olds because we not getting any new patches or content or new features. Why, you might ask yourself? Well, simply because we are not funding their game for them to develop it.
You want a reasonable chance of success? EVERYTHING IN THIS GAME IS PREDETERMINED? Is that too big a word for you? Well, it simply means that this game has a DESTINY. The server on uCools side knows when our 10th star on adamanti is going to be successful, it knows if we are going to flip over a purple card with card broker, it knows what we going to get in casino, it knows if our Angel 5 main is going to pass with 2 cards but fail with 3. Our game has already been played for us, we're just unraveling what it turns out to be!
So, please remember that uCool NEED their money otherwise we will NEVER see another patch again. You not wanting something that you have to pay for means you not going to get it. You have better luck in finding another game I'm sorry to say.
Back to my merging chips suggestion, I think a lot of people are failing to understand that it works EXACTLY THE SAME as sanctifying your heroes. You start with a failure rate, build your chips up, and try get a better success rate. I agree no one not even me would risk lvl 6 chips upwards because of the potential fail rate, but please understand that you can still build them to a point where you get a 100% success rate.
Now, what I'm trying to do is still have the set amount of 5 chips to give you 100% no matter what and people can build it to that amount to give you the higher level chip you desire for. But also have the opportunity to merge 3 chips and 4 chips (Lets forget about merging 1 chips and 2 chips as that will cause too much drama) at a failure rate but with the potential to save a bit of money .. Please remember no one is telling you that you have to take 3 or 4 chips then it fails but that you have the opportunity to build it to 5 chips and still get 100% success rate.
I don't like the idea. Chips are fine the way they are. It just takes time but that's all we got because the game is progressing at the rate of a melting iceburg in winter.
