If the winner stays in then there is no point because he would continue to win. The idea is to give other a chance to win.

I do agree that there should be something done to give others a change to win. The crown system does not work because it is still among the top few. Maybe some one that is the champion a few times has to sit out a certain number of tournaments, or maybe those that make it to the finals have to sit out a certain number of tournaments. That would give the other players a chance.

It could also be a combination of both. The first time that you reach the finals you sit out one tournament. The next time, two tournaments, etc. Tre would have to be a maximum number of tournaments that you have to sit out, of course.

there is nothing wrong with the crowns, they work just fine as is.
i think to fix this the best way would be to increase the rewards for the top 3 to make them want to take the crown over letting alts win more tickets to farm off (TOS should be enforced for that matter and not letting them bid their alts at all).
or get rid of the tickets all together and put a league reward system and you get tickets as you place yourself amongst all players, meaning if your alts are not good enough to score big, they get small rewards and if your main looses a match, then there will be less rewards. maybe a point system and let them choose whatever rewards they want

All this talk of letting others win is pointless. You wantto win beat the people winning.

They want to throw th wmatch so they dont get a crown or to let someone else advance FINE so be it - DONT CARE

what fluer and blayd did with switching off which one sthey won and threw was TSUPID and detrimental to the point of betting

SO simple simple simple solution

The first 4 minutes those fighting have to set forms and upload
After that we normally have a 1 min period where noone can bet or do anything.

SO INSTEAD
after the first 4 mins
the profile shows the actual CWF form and the power reflects their cwf pwoer AND you can bet for the last minute. Then we can wait until they cant change forms and see if someone is throwing a round then no issues with losing tickets

Now for all of you who dont understand
the profile you see in a cwf screen is the form the player is in on their server not their cwf form. And many players are now sitting stripped on their server during CWF to hide their heroes form opponents.
It was originally good form by those throwing matches to strip their server forms so we knew they were throwing a match and could bet appropriately. However that politeness has gone out the window.

The power you see on a cwf screen is usually 1 round behind. SO if you see it saw 1.2B or whatever that was the power of their last round not the form they are going to us ein the current fight. And for many that power never updates. It is a display glitch.

So once again
let people throw matches all they want
just make it so after the 4 minutes has gone by and they cant change forms, the profile shows their cwf lineup and the power shows their current cwf power for the current match and allow us to bet for the final minute. Then we can wait and see and bet appropriately every time

Well Blayd and Fleur are just having fun because they can and are board. Sure we can complain all day and night and nothing will be done so get over it. CW times will not change. The crowns were meant to make it more interesting but failed.

Honestly if the devs really wanted to mix it up and restart the commerce I think it would be funny if you got an automatic 5% buff per level you are below your challenger since you have to be at least a level 40 to join CW in the first place that would really mix things up.

Or put in a Gem only Boost button because who would waste gems if there was nothing to gain?
