That would be at B then since they are defending and you are attacking?
I know where you are coming from though. Try to look at it in this way:
IF you would reset the changes that where made recently regarding GW (attack penalties/defense bonuses/durability) and have the Guilds start at A and G only and they would race to D, you would still have the problem of much stronger players you are facing. I always emphasized that the changes to GW regarding defense/attack bonuses/durability should have never been made and make no difference. in my opinion the strongest guild should have the most cities because they deserve it. they should especially NEVER have to fear to loose a city against a guild/player who only got a tenth of their power.
as a fact on our server we have one demented player who is the only active player in his own guild with his own 2 alts, who is trying to steal a city from us EVERY night. if i dont set up GW daily and we would go in randomly that player would steal a city from us and it has happened in the past before. he is only able to do that because we have captured and worked hard on getting the cities we have. if we dont put the top 2 of our guild into the same defending city, he would overrun everyone else and from power he is on the bottom of the top 12.
think of it this way: IF you would be defending that city, how would you feel if someone trots along with with 1/10th your power and steals the city from you?
i think its working fine as is and there should not be changed anything.
