They don't care whether you live somewhere other than the USA and they are not obliged to follow the laws of your country.
They are legally liable, therefore, they don't have to give a damn about what other entities/persons believe outside their game but make the choices they think will solely benefit their game.
I don't want to change what you believe.. that's not my place here. However, I'm just trying to explain to you why they should not follow laws of other countries and instead follow the laws of what their TOS says!
I'm not on about ToS I am on about uCool still need to follow certain laws in certain countries. Not once did I mention their ToS.
My post was a simple pointer games have to follow certain laws depending on which country that gamer is from.

I believe there was talks about limitations on how much people could spend on a game in certain countries. By which the game provider would have to follow.

I don't really care what uCool do.

Whatever they do we need to deal with. All I'm saying is they have to follow rules too.

It doesn't matter what country your're in, this is what you agreed to when you created your account.

By ordering Virtual Enhancements you agree and accept that uCool will provide them to you immediately following completion of your purchase. If you reside in the European Union and you purchase an enhancement from uCool, you have the right to withdraw from a purchase within seven calendar days, commencing on the day after the date of purchase (the "Cooling Off Period"). However, you lose your right of withdrawal if the performance or use of the enhancements begins before the end of the Cooling Off Period.
In short no refunds are applicable unless you got yourself a very expensive and probably a not very clever one. The only exception to the 'rule' so to speak is if any purchases you have made weren't received by you.

All this over $35 bucks??? That's nothing!! Some have spent considerably more. I think all this is just for argument's sake. That is why there are lawyers and courts, same words different interpretations on them. LOL No one I read was asking for any money back.

The person who mentioned $35 wasn't asking for their money back either...

Earlier, I mentioned spending about $35 on this game and spread it over four servers. I did receive a refund when double billed on one item, but resolved that matter many months ago. Obviously, the economic value of acquiring an in-game bonus ends when the gameplay stops. Not a request for a refund, merely a statement about the personal valuation of various advantages sold. In short, VIP1 is well worth the price, but higher VIP levels cost more than their perceived value.
