Given that both have the same amount of Stars, same runes (except Intensness for shayd and vengence for Thucy) ... same amount of hit rating.. Why does Thucy hit more in banish than Shayd.. I always thought since Shayd was a gold hero with better stats that she would do more stunning in Banish form... Has anyone else tested this theory.. It seems alot of people are using Thucy as the sub instead of Shayd.. Did they Nerf Shayd after going over the lvl 10 rune Hit rating??
hit rating does not influence your stun capabilities. shayd stuns more than thucy but mages miss a lot more. so even if thucy fails to stun he still does damage. however, while shayd misses more she also stuns more if she didnt miss.Originally Posted by brianpkelley68_351461

With Shayd, the more you hit, the more you have a chance to stun, obviously. If she doesn't hit her target, she can't stun it. This is mostly why people say, in the first place, that hit rating is important for stuns. Some people ahve come to believe, falsly, that hit rating helps stun, but it merely helps hitting your target.what then does influence stuns in this game??

I don't know what the difference in stun rates is between shayd and thucy, but if there's a post out there, someone please point me to it.
I've tried same form with only swapping Thucy and Shayd. I swear some days Shayd couldn't hit the side of a barn from inside the barn. I get better results overall with Thucy. My shayd's hit rating is 240.
Thucy works better for me than Shayd too. A significant difference over the course of a banish Event, maybe 2-3%

you have to get on one thing clear to yourself: works better in what - damage, stunning, not failing, missing...?
because if its in doing damage then you have other heroes that do more damage but dont do occasional stuns. shayd is the better stunner if she doesnt miss. thucy is more reliable because he never misses and does more damage than shayd, but he mostly doesnt stun.
now you have to make to yourself clear what you want: occasional stuns from both, either or none.
like having 4 stunners in banish formation is an option but thats not necessarily whats best for you. lets say your thucy for example does 280k damage (double with crit) and your shayd does 220k while your pomp does 750/600/500 (in the first 3 rounds, double if crit).
now ask yourself the same question from above again: "my heroes work better in what - damage, stunning, not failing, not missing...?"
I think we're on the same page, sorta. Thucy hitting and not stunning is still better than shayd hitting air.
thucy: hit stun hit hit hit stun hit stun hit
shayd: stun miss miss hit stun miss stun hit miss
Shayd gets 40% stun rate. Thucy gets 33%. I can't watch enough to get better results. It costs way too many coins/credits to watch a whole fight. Sometimes Shayd is phenomenal, sometimes she's embarrassing. Thucy is more consistent, at least in my experience. If I had to choose between one stunner and those were my choices, I'd probably pick Shayd. Given I'm choosing between a 3rd stunner, I'm still backing Thucy.
You Guys are great for information... Thank you Kaisim and Vandekop This does help.. I hate to put 18 stars on thucy but if that what it takes to get more points then so be it. I just wish that Shayd would hit more (stun) ....
there will be many who will tell you that putting 18 stars on any hero even lance will not give you phenomenal changes. maybe not waste those medals for now and focus on your quest/HR lines and get them to 18 in the endgame.
