i had this happen to my adam and shayd the same day. adam to 11 i believe and shayd to 8. point was they wanted screenshots from the system message but there is none at 8 stars. providing a screenshot with shayd at 8 didnt help back then and pointing out that no system message at 8 stars didnt help either.
this was a while back while there was still was customer service responding
later on it happened to me again with 2 different heroes, no system message again. i took screens of the heroes (i believe 12/13 stars) but they only pointed out that its a sync error, there was no system message and the enhancement has failed.
at this point i would like to point out that stars are also predetermined and if it doesnt show in their records that its supposed to "go" then it wont
