    Success in HR, stars, tavern

Is it that you succeed after so many tries? It seems as if it is and is not based on chance (tavern), percentage (stars) or your power (HR).

Heroic Realm, it recalculates the fight using pseudo-random values every time you trigger the fight. Your overall power becomes rather meaningless as you progress farther and it will be far more about how you reach that power (meaning 2 people could reach the same power but one could do it through exclusively attack stats and the other could reach it through defenses stats instead). So basically, the fights do not look at your power. The game looks at every individual stat that makes up your power instead. Those pseudo-random numbers do affect fights but there is no set number of fights before a win because you could change formation, gear, runes, etc. that would change the outcome. In other words, watch some of your fights in there and see where things are going wrong and try again a few times in case bad luck screwed you over. Fix the problems or come up with a new strategy and then try again.

The tavern seems to keep a list of the tier of heroes that will appear in each shuffle. A new list is generated eventually, idk if it generates the list at specific intervals of time or when it reaches the end of the current one or at some other time. It also seems to include whether you will get a white, blue, purple, or gold hero from it. Someone else may have a different theory on this.

As Revan mentioned, there is no set number of fights before a win, but you can still spam a HR boss to reach your maximum output of all your heroes potential. Which is usually an additional 10%-15% of what you averaging and your low will roughly be around 25% less of your average. Your not going to achieve your maximum often so continue upgrading your runes as needed.

If you know your match up's and mechanics, a simple tweak to your heroes/formation will suffice.

I am not sure that the % you say are very correct. The variance in % killed is so wide you can hit a 90% then hit a 25%, and everything in between. That crazy difference doesn't make much sense to me as within a few mins of each hit you have changed nothing and yet it can be all over the scale. Spamming for the "lucky" hit just seems rather redundant but you have to do that.

he totally guesstimated and that's because there is no statistics, not even the devs have any. you right about the lucky hit though, some will get it in some formation right away and then maybe never again (good thing we got 'execute' button now

Thanks but seems it's all just a matter of keep trying til you get lucky with all of it, doesn't have anything to do with your power, formation or percentages and execute is worthless when you're trying to get a new plan it's only good after you've beaten that Hero Realm guy and need more of the same plan.

i have found that with HR simply changing one hero position can change the outcome... if you have 50% of the HR boss health you can usually get lucky enough to nail it by shuffling your form about...
