for the third time, maybe tynon will leave this post. CW what a joke, emilyb must have liked what tynon gave her as she didn't power down in the final this time. again it's simple, if you don't like what you get for free don't sign up

I hate to say this as I truly have enjoyed this game but Tynon has created a Pyramid scheme and Success in CWF has been permanently denied for any outside the top 10 players for the foreseeable future (or until they quit). I have finished in the top 16 in CWF more than a few times (currently 720M power) but yet what chances do I have to progress? absolute none without spending a considerable amount. Not too long in the distant past I was about 100M behind Mattp (and this is not an attack on him I just wound up facing him in 4 consecutive CWF's) even with his power advantage I would be able to eek out 2 wins through luck/skill. Now at this moment he has out grown me by more than 300M due to CWF rewards and continuous improvement and I congratulate him for that. But at the same time I am more than a bit bitter as for finishing in top 16 you get NOTHING. When CWF was incorporated the rewards should have been by tiers with each KO rd Victor getting some kind of token reward. escalating in value as the tournament progresses. With the current setup the same 6 players continue to get the bulk of the rewards (as they should) but with that the desire to compete has been diminished due to the realization that one could never achieve that status.

The Game has died there is no content to occupy the majority of players anymore, the majority of servers are limited to a few players and however many alts they can maintain. I have made many friends here and I am more than a little sad that the Dev's have neglected this platform and ultimately destroyed a great game.

I still have some hope that new content/structure will come but it is shrinking faster than the Polar ice caps.

in all fairness, your powering down for at least one battle that i have seen, wasnt that "kosher" either. you seem like good player who knows what he is doing and you kinda caught me off guard because i assumed you are a newer player and thought you where doing rather well...

I am pretty sure I never powered down (intentionally) I did have an interruption from my kids that hindered my ability to change forms last CWF for 1 rd and I was not to happy about that. Trust me I can not afford to lose any tickets on my part =)

I agree with you here. This structure, and their denial of entertaining any changes to better support a wider field for rewards has, like you say, stunted everyone else from this. It is really frustrating to be in the 2nd tier of players that are there on the cusp, but can never catch the tops, so will never be in the running. Time to really say what we achieved is as good as it's going to get. Shame really, but if Dev's don't care what can we do.

i hate when that happens, i have a 9 yr old myself and a grown up myself. if any of the 2 gets between while i am switching forms or runes, i am done... it would be nice to have additional options or heroes or being able to equip "all runes" or all of the above, save forms for faster switching...

ps: i think its hilarious that blayd isnt powering down to 1 hero anymore but now removes all runes in the hope its not considered as an exploit lol

EDIT: never mind, 1 battle after this post he decide to reduce to 1 hero LMFAO

5002 tickets in round 5 with 10 gems added... so disappointing

just sad how some "players" dont get it that patterns, over confidence or assuming "all others are stupid" wont pay off
... no wait he got 10k and most others maybe 100 if they where lucky... sigh
kinda sad how most dont realize how they are getting ripped off


EDIT: after getting 5.7k tickets from griffin in round 7 and only 2k and change from blayd in round 8 i have to point out and ensure you that blayd is NOT giving me any information on how to bid, i had a couple wrong and it is a sole coincidence and pure luck (some intuition is involved as well)

I have always thought that the reward structure should have evolved along with the game. Not healthy for a game to be stagnant.
This includes more rewards for those in the 2nd tier down.
And random rewards for a lucky few entrants.

Crowns were the easy fix, and we can see how that has turned out.

crowns should have NEVER EVER been reset in the first place... that only happened because certain coiners cried enough...
i do agree to the bad ticket/bid structure and at this point i would like to point out ancient posts that i started right after the first few GW's where i suggested that there shouldnt be bidding and a real reward system in place that would reflect the battles won and lost (like a 5:0 counts higher than a 3:2) and make it a real difference if someone ends up with 1st, 2nd, 5th, 8th, 99th or 220th... it should be increased so far that players dont care if they get a deduction next time and get special rewards for winners like a special mount, appearance, etc that you cant buy with money or experience. then that would also equalize players with too many alts that are throwing matches or bids to increase others and make it "not worth the effort"
