I am at VIP 6 and will be here until this game is retired. Have not spent a dime as long as I could remember since they stopped responding to the tickets and started to blow us off.

Davemata has already stated that development is still ongoing and I have reason to believe him, otherwise the game would have shut down by now as they wouldn't want any unnecessary costs to run a server!
As for Morgan, she is not defending uCool's actions even if she has no idea. I agree with her as people in, for example, South Africa do not celebrate thanksgiving at all. It would be unnecessary for uCool to advertise/promote a special deal to a category that doesn't involve the influence of other people. As for Christmas, New Year, Easter, 4th July and Labor Day (Two largest American holidays), uCool will generally put out packages for that. Christmas and New Year will fall under the same category though.

If that was the case as an example for South Africa. then they would have never instituted Thanksgiving package to begin with. So you are saying they are now changing and taking away a specific holiday package now? OR They most likely forgot about TYNON since they don't gave much care about it, which is the more likely scenario.

If you are refusing to spend why do you care so much? For an conscientious objector you seem to have a lot to say and most of it speculative. Therefore if mine and David's have no value yours don't either.
If I remember rightly I can't remember them doing Thanksgiving last year. The first special packages were launched for Christmas and that was a big big promotion. uCool might have decided not to bother with Thanksgiving (being close to the festive season) and go with a Christmas and New Year bonanza instead.
EDIT: Looked it up and I was right, the first ever Tynon promotion took place last Christmas. Also there have been a lot of previous complaints of uCool having too many American associated holiday promotions. On the other hand there wasn't one for Labour Day until this forum suggested there should be one.

Yes, we had all major USA holidays celebrated with packages. I can't recall the exact time or which holiday it was they came out with these packages, as BETA never had any, and neither did live when it first started. They were implemented after we were asking for them in forum here. The fact that UCool does, and always has, put out deals for Evony it makes no sense they would not here for reasons of nationality. It has to be some other issue. Perhaps they are mad at us, or just are not getting the finacial support from Tynon they don't think it worth it. One thing for certain, ALL of our opinions are speculations.
Edited; ok, editing my post as i found a thread where someone was asking for packages for Tynon, and it is dated 12-2013, so yes Morgan, i think you are right, that may have been the first one.

Haha, there's about 20 Casual players left on my merged server and about 20 alts. If Tynon don't want any more of our money they won't get it, because at this point a two for one sale is they only way any of us will spend !
I don't agree, as i feel that this train is fast coming to the last station. If they felt they could make money, they would have had packages just like on evony.
As for Davemata's one comment that "development is ongoing", i don't believe he was referring to the game being further developed. I read it as a technical distinction between his role, and that of dawnseeker who was in customer service role.
Of course i would like to be wrong on that, but i haven't seen anything to indicate otherwise.

I don't think you can compare evony promo's with tynon or any other ucool game, its been around for almost 5 to 6 years now and is probably brings them the most cash.
unlike tynon there is no ceiling nor caps to worry over stunting players growth. albeit its over run by neat and horrifying lag and of the like; but that won't stop the cash flow.
Ironically i'd bet dave reads these forums more than people think; he and the rest of ucool don't respond, why would they; so many complain here about things but still fork over the cash in the end; only when the overhead starts to catch up and it costs more to run it then they make, will they make something happen in my opinion.
