    Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas!
Why bring me into this? It's not my fault Santa didn't turn up in Aerie this year. You wanted packages, you got'em and now everyone is moaning there isn't any free stuff. Don't get me wrong I can see why people are disappointed but I already suspected last year was a one-off and so I hadn't got any expectations, therefore I'm not disappointed.

As for 'crushing our freedom of speech' hate to break it to you this is a privately owned forum and everyone here is subject to the rules set by uCool. That thread I closed was calling a boycott on spending on Xmas Packages. It came under 'protesting' which is against the rule, not to mention pretty rude to do that on a forum that is free and available to all, all paid for by uCool.

The Xmas packages are optional, you don't like them then don't buy them. It's no good banging on about it, every holiday package will be the same from now on like it is in Evony. You might as well give up on Santa and a gem giving Lady, enjoy the holidays instead.

Happy Christmas/Holiday all. Sorry it's a tad late the festive season has been very busy for me

    Hey wait a minute!
I never wanted packages but santa and gems but got none of it.
I guess I was naughty by not funding uCool to run their Evony server

    hi morgan.
    1. i dont put u into this only i say avryone had the rite to say abaut tynon that somethinks dont go how had to be so u cane tranfer to them. why to have abaut that a probl with u...

2.abaut that u close a chat in forum. ys thats not a freedom. and wane players speand monay or in a game or in a shop they cane say somethink is going rong and they cane say i think stop buy.
Then u or avryone do what he or she like, so buy or not, we have to choose what we like do.
I was not from this serfer but i didnt find it rite. many they ur not happy for many thinks, so let them say avrythink what they have and they fill.
So maybe someone do what need to do to fix this probl if they like. (I know u need to folow the rules)

Yes i do my holiday and hope u have also good holidays.
And i dont have nathink with u and sorry if u get it so. But needs in any way to be listened ur probl to TYNON.
I think ur the rite person to do that for us to tranfer to them

For one more time hope to all and to u nice xmas and fun

uCool's using the revenue from Evony, Tynon and CoE to fund development and advertising for Heroes Charge.

After all their failed attempts, they finally hit the jackpot with HC.

So until there are stupid players still putting cash into dead games like Evony, Tynon and CoE, ucool will still prevail.

Another new one??? FFS lol And how do you know it's a "jackpot"?? That's what we thought here, and players who joined COE thought too.... didn't turn out that way.

Ucool ~ making new games would be much better if you had real word-of-mouth recommendations from players who are happy with Ucool and their service. Starting new ones but not maintaining, growing them is not the way to start out. This one is only 1 1/2 years old. Evony was great much longer, and still being tended to. What happened? You'll lose followers that might have given your games a loyal and strong start by jacking em over. Businesses who don't put customer service up in priority generally don't succeed in the long run, it has been my experience in real life.

(That is just to Ucool. I don't want to argue the fine points of whether we are players/customers/payers. Don't have to reply to that, it is just my thoughts to them)

Create a game, be involved in the community for the first 6-12 months while the devs are creating another game behind the scenese to release shortly after and let the free standing games rack in the cash.. sounds like a good business plan to me lolz

Over 1M downloads, #9 in Google Playstore's list of games raking in the cash. 4.4 stars with 184k ratings.

HC forums are bigger than Evony forums already.

Sounds like a 'jackpot' to me.

P.S. This is the last computer game I'm going to be playing. I'm starting to program Java next year. Will be on Android platform from now on.

Mobile gamemaker Ucool launches a TV ad blitz for Heroes Charge

Mobile-game publisher Ucool is launching a holiday advertising campaign for its Heroes Charge mobile battle arena card game with an unusual tactic: television advertising. The Menlo Park, Calif.-based company is launching a TV advertising campaign on Comedy Central, Adult Swim, and other cable channels worldwide to make a big push for the holidays.

The move is a rare big bet on the mass market reach of television, but it’s also another sign that mobile gaming is growing up. Worldwide, mobile games are expected to reach $30 billion in revenues in 2015, surpassing overall revenues for console games, according to market researcher Newzoo. Rival Machine Zone also launched a TV campaign with supermodel Kate Upton to recruit more users for Game of War: Fire Age. But while that game has been generating hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue for the past year, Ucool’s game is less established.

Jim Ngui, the producer of Heroes Charge, said in an interview that TV advertising is actually cost-effective. It hits a wider net of mainstream users than targeted mobile gaming ads. But the cost per install of mobile gaming ads has been rising so much that TV doesn’t seem so outlandish anymore, Ngui said.

Heroes Charge debuted in August, and it has slowly rolled out worldwide. But now Ucool will launch the ad campaign in 25 countries on dozens of cable TV networks. The game is targeted at men and women ages 18 to 44.

“We are going very heavy with traditional advertising, both online and offline,” Ngui said. “TV is not more targeted, but it helps capture a wider net.”

The title has a lot of cool action as teams of warriors fight in a side-scrolling battle against teams of enemies in a fantasy setting. The iOS and Android title is already successful, with more than 6 million downloads worldwide. The title is No. 1 in 120 countries in the role-playing game and card-battle category. It’s particularly strong in Asia, said Ngui. But one of the reasons for the TV campaign is to introduce the game to Americans. The game has good retention, with 24 percent of players still playing the game after a month.

“Ucool is going huge across cable this holiday season to reach mainstream consumers who are second-screening their favorite TV shows,” said Lu Lu, the chief executive of Ucool, in a statement. “We know players are enjoying games on their phones and tablets as they watch South Park on their TV screen. Our game delivers that powerful adrenaline rush players are seeking between moments of their shows. With action-packed battles, a vast array of colorful heroes, quick progression, and rich rewards, we know that once players get a taste of Heroes Charge, they’ll be hooked.”

The 30-second commercial was created by Brazen Animation and Failsafe Creative Group. It features popular characters from the game, including skeletal warriors getting zapped by the electrifying mage Emberstar. The title is cute and fun, and it doesn’t have a high barrier to entry. So while the content is hardcore, it’s also accessible. And that means it makes more sense to do the wider audience TV ads, Ngui said.

Ucool is releasing a new update that introduces hundreds of hours of new gameplay. It is also raising the level cap from 80 to 90. It has a new Grand Arena for 15-on-15 multiplayer battles, and it is also introducing the Outland Portal, where random bosses break into your homeland. The game also has three new heroes with the update.
