If I buy a new mount and feed it before transferring experience from my old mount will transferring exp from old mount overwrite the experience gained on my new mount?

No, it will just add to it
yes 30% u lose from exp if u do with coins, with gems is 100%
It adds exp to the already existing exp on your mount.
So mathematically speaking, if:
New Mount has 10000 experience
Old Mount has 10000 experience (will be transferred)
Then (10000 * 70%) + 10000 = just adds the 7000 exp from the old mount on top of the 10000 on the new mount, so the new mount would have 17000 exp after the transfer. I'm assuming you dont lose 30% of what was already on the new mount, just the 30% on the old mount being transferred, correct?
hi. if u make a mount tranfer with coins then ur lost from the exp u have is 30%. if u do with gems u dont lose exp.
normaly u go for a better mount so u lose 30% and normaly u go down stars but u get more hp from the new maunt so u get more power
I'm looking at getting a mount, have a Bear that is almost 8 stars and the 'cost' for a perfect transfer is in the 2,300 gem range at the current feeding. I did some math and that works out to 1 gem per feeding for the perfect transfer. A bit high I'd say. If I don't do the perfect transfer, I go from 230k exp on the bear (current) to about 145k exp on whatever mount I get. As much as the perfect transfer costs, I might as well spend gems to train whatever mount I replace the bear with, and I'm sorry, but gems have much better uses than the exorbitant amount the prefect transfers cost. Thursdays eat all my gems, and I still have about 12,000 to 14,000 worth of jewel slots to unlock.

The perfect transfer gem cost is always 1 gem per 100exp (1 feeding) that the mount has. It will never be worth it to perfect transfer because the amount you lose by coin transfer will always be recoverable by 22.5% of the gems it would take to perfect transfer. One could factor in that you save coins, but even saving 400mil coins (most expensive transfer) isn't worth the gem transfer.
