Well, I have to disagree, the sloppy code writing has caused issues in this area.
I have a few times spun quickly just for spirits, and counted the purple/gold heroes, when multiplying by 26 (spirits I get on a tuesday) the numbers dont always add up.

Lol I must have bought a bum calculator then, It was out by 13 spirits, which is what i would have got on a normal day.
Not gunna argue over it, as theres no way to prove for or against.
Im assuming it had something to do with the clock settings, as i had the same issue on valentines with the gem lady my local time is 8hrs ahead of the server time.

then about the tavern issue...
it has been discussed so many times and there is currently 2 known bugs that are confirmed and ucool acknowledged one of them and the other still claims is not existent. these issues have been handeled many times before and i am not telling it again.
use the search function.
@service: i think your "missing" 13 spirits are easy explainable:
when you spin 3, 4, 5 purple/gold cards at once you will see the spirits get added up twice and then deducted on the same turn right after. misinterpretation while spinning fast can lead to "missing" spirits, however that being said, you may have discovered a third bug and you should try to repeat your experiment and do some more research. if you can duplicate the result its worth knowing if there is a 3rd bug so in case on some day they do decide to fix bugs and start promoting this game again then they will be able to fix it.
its really not worth the hassle tbh
average around 15k spirits a week, really dont think id miss 13

been 5 months since i spent here, and if things dont improve soon wont be playing much longer
also im not sure how i can misinterpret the counting, if i spin 30 gold heroes 30*26=780
if i have gained 767 spirits, it doesnt work :/ unless i turned 29 1/2 cards :P

yeah but the instant deducted cards would count only once (i.e. (3x26)/2=39 and 39=26+13)
You cannot get an odd number by multiplying with an even number. Basic mathematics.
