It's happening yet AGAIN.... This time from an "ARMA" emailer. Same message and happened right at the start of Cerberus Banish time for Server 5. This is probably going to keep on happening for a while - just be vigilant and careful and don't trust anything sent to you with any kind of URL in game. Even from known players because if they got compromised the hacker could use their account to send you bad information... This really sucks, wish Ucool would get on this and try to stop it.
ZAPPY just appeared on server 92 as well. its an "IN-GAME-MAIL" not an email!

i am saying we got the mails in-game, not via email. if someone hacked into thru the TCP or whatever or thru the firewalls or if it was sent from an in -game account i dont know and i am not on tynon staff.
OK the hacker who hacked that account on Server 5 just taunted everyone on the server with that poison URL using a world Chat speaker right at the start of Guild Wars for Feb 15th using that hacked person's account. Come on Tynon - can you at least try to stop this somehow? This is beyond infuriating...
Got this message yesterday and so did the other 30 members in my guild...
Going to take this to Davemata on Evony forums and see what is said, hope he replies

On Server 1, player "tynn" sending messages saying you can buy 1000 gems for $10, and provides a link, be careful people. Reported but you know...
Come on people you are smarter than this. Do not go to any website or adress or anything like that that is sent to you via an in game mail. This person also went to server 129 and is using the name tynon. that is tynon with a period at the end so as to appear like it is a mail from tynon.

i think that most are and that is why there is only a few that followed those links and they are trying to warn the others
here is one of the features that i like most about this game and so many seem to forget: no trade for real money
i have had played other games where in game items like helmets, weapons, rings, etc where sold on online auction and other channels. if someone steals an account here then its a real idiot who wasted his time or a moron thinking he can make the big bucks ... either way the money he can make from the game in stealing accounts is less than his IQ
