It's happening again on Server 5 today with an account called 'Tynon' but it has a '.' at the end... It says "Tynon." Searches show 'no such player exists'. Now if you're an old Evony player, of which there are a lot of us still around, eyesight is not so great on the smaller details. Still with all the warnings on here hopefully no one falls for this anymore.
The troubling thing I've noticed is very few people are actually checking these forums regularly. Players only seem to come here AFTER a problem has happened. So the ability for these messages to serve as warnings to players doesn't really work out unless Guild Hosts or Vice Hosts are checking and passing the warnings on to their guild. Tynon devs have sent one single message in response to all this to all players so at least they're aware of it. But I would hope they realize that this is likely a training ground for the hacker to move over to Heroes Challenge and other games Ucool has in development. The longer they let that hacker play with their code here the more likely the hacker will strike other Ucool property. Why allow someone to continue casing out your house after they've broken a few windows and stolen items out of your living room? Where I'm from, if the person who has broken into your house returns, you can legally shoot them to death as you stand your ground. Hence the 'Stand Your Ground' Law - Yes the USA is a very gun-oriented country.
Tynon can at least make it much more difficult to break in and make the results of the break-ins fruitless by returning affected players to their pre-damaged status. It was done before when the guild Deathwish was affected on Server 5 and that resulted in a major change in the programming. Do a search of 'deathwish' if you want to read about all that from old posts.
Tynon Dev's response is too little too late for a good number of dedicated players. And the follow up scam that the hacker is posting today is riding right along with the response Tynon Devs gave warning about the hacks in their mass in game mail to everyone. The hacker is basically thumbing their nose at the Tynon Devs and getting away with it yet again...
Do NOT go to any website offered by ANY in game mail - It's going to be FALSE and harmful.
