you forgot the most important option:
6) if you feel like quitting because of all the reasons above (investment, lack of support, bad support, no updates, bad updates, no bug fixes, a game we love for no explicable reason, cheats, cheaters, bots, automated gameplay, abuse, cyber stalking, drama, overly complaining and redundancy (yes thats for you too david), punishment for spending a few bucks, feeling unappreciated, etc...) and Ucool doesnt feel like fixing it while giving us the unappreciated feeling that implies "wait, what are you still doing here and cant you see that we are trying to make you quit? - dont you get hint when it hits you in the head!?". this all makes me feel like leaving, i said before that if no real update soon then i will leave too and i am getting closer to do so. mainly because i dont know whats still holding me. maybe the dedication and the time that i invested playing the game and getting myself to this point where i am without cheats or alts.

The thing that is still holding you, me, and majority others is the sub-conscious feeling that something may (in uCool's case) 'spontaneously' be released.
However, we may fear - that after spending so much on this game - uCool are going to release something major as soon as we quit!
We spend every waking moment constantly twiddling our thumbs and getting our hopes above the moon that some sort of miracle may happen even though the odds are nail-biting low.

I feel that the sooner uCool shut down Tynon, then the better for us all!

If they do an update they should start with the "Daily Upkeep". There are only a hand full of ways to gain "reputation", and if you work during the day and can't do Baal or Cerb except on weekends, or they big money players drive up the power - on one server I played Baal today and did 70 million damage to it and got zero reputation. WTF. And if you aren't available for Ragnarock (which isn't much anyway) or you are not in the biggest guild with all the cities and can't get those bonuses. What are you stuck with The Arena - each fight you lose you may get 20 Rep. So you have to make 100 fights just to get your daily upkeep. Who has time to fight the same person 100 times in a day, if you are on just an hour a day.

Then some people claim you only lose the "upkeep" if you don't log on that day. What if you go on vacation for a week and lose 14,000 when you get back that might take 3 months to regain if you are not on all the time.

What about server crashes, computer problems or ISP problems. I was knocked off by my server for almost a year. And Couldn't get on. Some of my characters have a 2,000 / day upkeep, and the rest 500 -1000. That came out to 700k reputation for 1 character. I still haven't come close to recovering those lost reps.

NO the thing that drives me is that I still have a ways to go to max out Levels, equipment, runes, and get to the end of the game quests. At the rate I'm progressing maybe a year or so more.
The next main reason is that I met a lot of good people that I chat with. It would be too bad to lose touch with them if the game closes down.

uCool may want to close down the store but they still advertise for new players. And every once in a while someone new joins then quits after only one or 2 days. - its tough to try and play when everyone else is a couple hundred million power and you come in after one day with only 50,000 and realize you will never be able to compete.

This is an old thread. But what you bring up are good points. This has been the case since they changed the reps, then set back Ragnarok to lower reps. However, i don't think anything will change now. We speak to deaf ears.
