No ships have shown for 2 days now. When same bug hits your live servers they will raise holy heck since it is one of the bonuses that allows you to make your quota for free bonuses.
If you figure out repair in beta, it may lower time to fix when it occurs later in other servers and lower complaints.

It was announced that Beta would be left open, we would simply not be able to coin there. I would imagine if it was closing we would be hearing from a Tynon employee or spokesperson like Dawnseeker. Spreading rumors is a dicey business, please remember you are a moderator and some that use the forums may not understand the difference between a moderator and an employee speaking from facts.
