Just wanted to post that I am sorry about the final. I am not sure why my opponent chose not to play his heroes and lost the match. I was not a part or aware of his plans. I appreciate folks playing choosing to play a game with me, but a hollow victory it was. I could not have won - did not deserve to win.
I'd venture a guess so not to get another crown?? Seems the common denominator in the crown crowd. You won, fair and square. You got there, and if you keep doing it one day you'll be dropping to avoid crowns.LOL
P.S. The other way they could play would be to not win before the final 4, let others get crowns that they will have as opponents. And thusly share the wealth of prizes. But i suppose that's asking people not to be greedy, and well probably not likely. LOL

I was betting on you all the way... good work! I think your opponent powered down to save face. Better to say "I chose to lose" than say "I lost?" You came to fight and I'm sure I'm not the only one that respects that. Good on you!
Perhaps people should share the rewards for winning the semi finals/ losing the semi finals, winning the quarter finals/losing the quarter finals.
This would provide people with the details necessary to make optimum decisions regarding cw, so no one is caught unawares as to why people power down to lose the finals.
PS, losing the quarter gets 1 leader card, 1 level 7 chip, and a couple of other minor things.

In the interests of full disclosure, akin to Blayd's thread on banish formations, the prize table for each championship bracket should be revealed to all, so we are all on a level playing field with the same knowledge as everyone else (and then we can act accordingly to the logic of the information). I think if the finals was more who is gonna win the payout would be higher than the 500 tickets per loss etc.. Just saying it would pay more to lose before the finals than sit for 11 rounds getting loss tickets.
Well fully disclose away!!! Im sure i'll never make final 4, so no 1st hand knowledge from me. LOL It's all moot at this point. I don't see the CW leaders leaving, i don't see Tynon/Ucool making any changes. We are stuck with it as is. Only the players who stick long enough for some to drop out might, might, get in there.
