Hypothetical:
Lets say I have Khan uploaded in my CW formation.

If I improve Khan with sancts or stars

Will the Khan in my CW formation reflect these improvements?
Or do I have to upload the formation again to reflect the changes?
Or do I have to pull Khan out of the CW formation then put him back in, then upload again, to reflect the improvements.

Also, if I remove Khan's gear and runes

Will the Khan in my CW formation lose his gear and runes?
Can I move Khan around in my CW formation without him losing his gear and runes?

Does each time I hit the upload button, for my CW formation, reset all my heroes to their current status/gear/runes or only those that I have moved or substituted?

your heroes will only be updated if you upload the new formation.

What i have experienced is it uses the form last input unless: a hero is no longer in your "real" form. To make sure, i usually make changes to real form, then CW form and upload.
ie; I had Flavi in 1st sub, but now i have KT, but CW form last upload had Flavi, if you look the space will be empty. So upload current or put Flavi back.

P.S. If you make improvements during CW, for those to show i do believe you need to upload again.

yes and no. replace the " a hero is no longer in your "real" form" with "out of the inn" and you good, however it keeps the last form unless you change something. we have confirmed this by uploading a form and keeping it until the next CW. even when the heroes where not in your form or geared up anymore, it still kept the old form even after the game had "removed" them from the active form. until we decided to change it.

Well, ok. But i had my 1st sub missing, in CW form when i checked. Because it was one i don't use on daily basis, and wasn't in my lineup. Quick change and good to go. All i mean is, i don't always trust Tynon.

Don't trust Tynon... lol- that's probably best! But, as Kaisim said... once you upload a form... it will remain unless you send a hero to the inn. If you upgrade gear or runes.. that won't reflect unless you set the heroes up and reload the formation. I lose in knockouts... but I load my form for prelims and it doesn't change.

right, thats what i was saying: if the hero is NOT out of the inn it will disappear from the form screen but will stay in the actual battle form until you update. if you would have let the fight go on without changing anything, you would have noticed that you are still fighting with 2 subs
