Most the players you speak of have been around... they're just getting strong enough to make it to KO rounds, so you see them more. There's 32 brackets, 512 players and you only see 9 of them when betting, so a lot of toons to miss.

Having been around for a few days.... I do find it odd that some players hit five and seven in a row high level cards (same card)
from the tavern in a matter of a minute. Wish I knew how that worked.

Only someone psychotic in nature would spend the gazillion dollars it would take to reach the near 2 billion power level mark. I am however guessing most of these truly insane power level individuals are actually planted accounts by the administrators to try to get people to spend. Their packages range from 100 to 1000 dollars I mean really even their low end package is so outrageously priced for what it gives no one with half a brain would bother giving it a second glance. In all the years I have spent playing this game so far I have spent 29.99 on a holiday package to get Maria and a could times spent 4.99 on newbie package to get Maria once again because its a real pain trying to pull her from casino.

nice conspiracy theory, but there are those at or near 1b that spent close to what you did, they were just good at playing. I'm not past the 1b but around 900 and i haven't spent thousands. admittedly more than i should but prob around 500 for the 2 years since we started
