    Sancting for Banish

I use Thucy specifically for Banish. I would like to optimize Thucy so that his stun, Dizzing Strike, is stronger and hits more often. So I plan to remove all defensive sancts and replace them, hopefully with more beneficial sancts.
My question is, what should I be trying to replace then with?
I would assume Skill Attack, Crit and Hit Rating but would HP, Morale and Physical attack increase the stun rate/amount as well?
I realize this is a bit of a newbie question, but to be honest I've never really completely understood how this works and would appreciate it if someone could explain it to me.
    Thanks

Removing sancs costs dearly, even for gold/purple heroes. On a blue hero? Not in this lifetime.

I take it you don't use Thucy in Banish.....
Removing sancts is quite cheap. Maximum cost is 50 gems on a fully sancted Thucy at Angel 5.

He is very easy to upgrade stars on and you can usually get him sainted a lot easier than the other stunners. Plus the cards are cheap and I have 50 of them to use so I thought I would max him out......... I'm trying to get any advantage I can in Banish.

There is no confirmed stat that increases stun rate, except for hit rating which does so indirectly. You can only stun if you hit, so the more you hit, the better your chance to stun.

Phys & Skill Attack boost damage, I'm not sure if Phys Attack works in banish, but it does boost the damage in PVP for skill attacks. Crit is good, as it helps get you above the crit threshhold to crit the boss. Hit rating is only good in banish if you miss. If you find yourself already hitting close to 100% of the time with a level 12 preciseness rune, then extra hit rating saints aren't going to help much.

HP and morale are useless in banish. You get enough morale from endurance/righteousness runes, and no amount of HP is going to let you survive being 1 shotted by the boss.

On Thucy, my best guess is to get the best crit & skill attack. If phys attack works in banish with skills then it is also good. I prefer hit rating on mages, since aphro and shayd miss a lot more, so hit rating saints on the mage stunners is great imo. I don't recall many misses or hardly much at all on thucy and cianna with a level 12 preciseness rune.

Yes, Thucy is integral to the banish team. I'm not sure why the other guy was dissing the blue hero, as there are a few blue heros worth using. Thucy happens to be the most important blue hero due to his stun ability in banish. Knight Percival is another blue hero worth using if you want the Calvin effect for certain PVE fights, and he is much cheaper to star too, because he is a blue hero.

Thanks PeraWind. Nice answer! Much appreciated.
Over the next few months I'll be removing sancs, that are useless in Banish, as gems become available.
You know, all this time I thought that HP was Hit Points. But its health, right? My Thucy has a sh*tload of HP and still stuns quite well. I wonder just how powerful it can become with more suitable runes. I suppose its all gonna be a bit of a trade off really. Get the stun as close to 100% as possible and the damage inflicted as high as possible.
So, I assume from what you say, Thucy would be best with as much Skill Attack, Crit, Hit Rating (up to 100% hits), and possibly Physical attack as possible.
I suppose this would be the same for Cianna as well.

    1) Yes, HP is health. HP stands for hit points.

    2) Stun rate can't really be improved on its own. You will get better results the more you hit.

    3) Skill Attack (and possibly Phys Attack) & Crit are definitely the best on Thucy, Cianna, & Lancelot (which are the champions that do physical attacks, Thucy and Cianna also stun & Lance is the main damage dealer).

    4) Hit Rating is not a percentage value, it is a comparative value vs dodge rate. Hit rating also has a multiplier for each specific champion. Thucy, Cianna and Lance have better multipliers than Shayd and Aphrodite (who are the mage stunners). So it is easier to hit a lot with non mages than it is with mages. This is why hit rating is extremely important on shayd and aphrodite for banish. To my knowledge it is next to impossible to get Shayd and Aphrodite to 100% hit rate in banish.

    5) IMO if banish is your focus, level a preciseness rune to level 12 and put it on Shayd (who also should be in your banish line up). If your character is well developed and you have aphrodite, get another level 12 preciseness rune for Aphro. The preciseness rune at level 12 gives 220 hit rating. Level other preciseness runes to 8 or 9 or so for your physical hitters. I found that this got me the best results early on. Any hit rating saints on Shayd are your best friend. Hit rating on Thucy is only bad if 220 hit rating crosses the 100% hit rate threshold vs the banish boss. I'm not 100% sure on this. Once you hit 100% of the time (or very close to it) you can stop adding hit rating.

The other guy plays on an older server where we're all big enough to do well in banishes without Thucy. Too well. If three, maybe even two of us in realm changed to boss form and refreshed, we'd kill it too fast, getting the even bigger boss which has adds a lot more work/time for no additional compensation in credits or coins.

I won't/can't crunch the numbers but I think if you put the time/gems into good sancs (and stars/runes!) on heroes that are good in banishes as well as other areas of the game (Shayd, Lance, Aphro come to mind), it's a better overall use of time/gems than Thucy can ever be.
