changing realms

i changed realms (to chase 1000 gems for the 2nd time {different server first time}) but I am now stuck on the other realm.. had the patch that fixed gems rewards (recieving only 50%) in arena been applied .. i would have had ample gems to get back after my 72hr cooldown.. and why .. if it costs us gems should there even be a cooldown..either have it free and cooldown .. or paygems and no cooldown .. ..and a warning about its gona cost 150 gems for a realm change (before you confirm changing realms the first {free} time) would be nice..

(facepalm) i just went to look at the patches.. and last 2 patches still didnt include the arena gem stakes fix that was said to be going to be fixed on the next patch a week ago..
oh well

is the next patching day after his post..and i hope the fix got included in his "lots of bugs" ending line

but yes.. i collected 1000 gem stake from from a 4k power person i was over 200k and proceded to collect 5x 10 gem stakes while going up 600 ranks in arena +700 to sub 100 .. all were given only 1/2 and NONE showed that the stakes were taken by another (yes it shows you when the stakes are taken by another befor you attack i have seen it.. the display icon also disappears for the stakes you can only see when its taken by another when you hover your mouse over the avatar).. 3 of the 10 gem stakes were sitting at 00:00 time left so NOBODY had gotten those stakes or they would have been gone.. all gems recieved were 50% .. .. if you say that you share awards.. i ask you how you can have 1/2 of a Treasure chest anyway .. anyways hope hit was fixed on the 20th.. haven't tested it yet...

increasing my power IS helping my alliance.. theres only so many oppertunities to get gems..

so changing realms and chasing 1000 gems is 1 oppertunity.. spending a portion (150) of the rewards to get back is ok but dont make us wait

When I started up in the arena I went from 600th to 5th. I came along 4 100 gem stakes. All of them gave me half, oh well.

If you want to help your alliance, stick with them, donate daily, and help them in the guild wars.

Oh yes.. im sorry keeping myself low power helps in guildwars and carribean pirates ............. Ya RIGHT LMAO thanks i needed a good laugh today

and 2ndly I had informed my host about it 3 days prior.. if he had any quams about it he would have said something but he understands that the gems will help increase power which inturn helps the guild in Guildwars... or sailing accoss the carribean.. or plundering people who plunder our smaller guildmembers..

even outside the alliance or in another realm i can still be helpfull to the alliance, taking maps and passing them to smaller guildmembers.. or pvp revenge for guildmembers.
and given our numbers (members) someone would take my place adding the 10k gold investment (i am a VIP 0 no $$)

OK Ok anyways thread topic was Realm Changes costing 150 gems and not notifying earlier about 150 gems i don't wish to derail the topic further by continuing discussing further about the pro's and con's of gem chasing.

i was also charged gems to move realms and was my first time and i would really like them back. the first time is free i believe. My friend also moved at same time and it cost him nothing.
