It simply boils down to the greed of the player.

WRONG!! they already have VIP Rewards; so if they are going to post something called Beginner's Rewards and make it impossible for a real NEWBIE to achieve, without spending real money, then THEY are the greed ones.

It's not impossible for non coiners to achieve the Beginners Awards. Harder agreed, but certainly doable.

My computer is on about 16 hours a day,

To make level 40 in 4 days, and the achievements for the next three days is insane, if you have to leave your computer running 24/7

Since I allready had my computer running 24/7, it wasn't much of a problem for me.
Still, since I was finding things out as I went along, getting the day 4 reward was a real problem, if I can remember correctly.

The only non coiners, who have succeeded, have been the ones who were in the beta testing ... no NEW Newbies I have talked to have done it.
