When I open the Guild Warfare window to Bid for an NPC, all the Guilds are listed in tabs across the top. I'm in the Dark Realm, so I choose the "Dark Realm" Tab. It will allow me to add or subtract the fund value, but it will not allow me to push the Challenge button, it's grey'd out. No matter what combination or method I use to get to this screen has the same outcome. I'm not able to bid on an NPC city.
My guild missed out on night one of Guild Warfare because of this.
So after GW this evening, when we were given the ability to bid again, I tried again. Same outcome. This time however, I became curious and explored the other realms to see their progress. When I got to the last tab (Fire Realm) I noticed the Challenge button was Orange (not grey'd out). So I selected a city (Solstafir), bid 5k funds and clicked the challenge button. Poof, it worked. I don't know why, but I have to use the Fire Realm tab to bid on GW. So, then I hover my mouse over the little realm icon by the player avatar (top left corner) and it says "Fire Realm", and even when I click on it, as if I was going to change realms, it tells me i'm in the Fire Realm. The problem is, I'm in the Dark Realm obviously. After a restart everything seemed ok, until I opened the GW window again. Then I "Half Poofed" into the fire realm again.
Funny part is, I think the bid worked. It show's on the Dark Realm tab that we did make a 5k Bid on that city, so I suppose that is good. If you followed all that, congratulations.
Is anyone else having or noticed this issue? It's not just me. My wife and one of my VH's had it happen to them as well. I assume anyone who tries to bid will experience this.
Thanks![]()
