Thread: Enhancements, "BIG TIME FAIL!"

    Angry Enhancements, "BIG TIME FAIL!"

OK, I don't know who thinks the enhancements announced in email were a good idea, but they are a "BIG TIME FAIL!"
One click attack in the Wild:
    1. Defeats the purpose allowing you to check the stats of the target in question
    2. Allows WAY too much room for error when attacking when the screen is full with many other players.
(For example in the Baal/Cerberus fight arena when you are not fighting in Auto mode and try to click on a moving target like Baal).

    Limit on Size of Guild:
    1. The reasoning given will absolutely not work (hint: consider the players equally), the same thing happened in Evony and was a single biggest cause of a huge loss of players in that game. Sure enough, a revenue increase is nice from the game perspective, but when you loose a multitude of players because of this one lame enhancement, your profit margin will also decrease. I suggest this be reconsidered and changed to better align with User's needs. Because if you continue down this line of reasoning, the original success of this game will suffer just like evony did.

Even today, I personally have been trying to get a significant issue resolved with converting orders from beta that didn't work. Its been a week already for what I expect should be a 15 minute fix, and nothing has been done except promises made they will fix it.

This game is going to CRAP if this keeps up...

I semi-agree with you on the wild attacks, but the size of the guild is probably something most coiners would like.

Whatever a company says, all they want is money.
Shock - Druids - Blaze of Fire Dragon (Quit)
    Phyll - Storm of Freyr

The frustration with the guild size changes is that most players who do not coin heavily cannot do large contributions to the guild. So guilds that are already in place with a large VIP membership have huge advantage in growing. Smaller guilds that do not have many VIP members will struggle to get enough contributions to increase their levels.

Well I never did particularly care for people being able to look quite so far up my skirts, but basic info like Power, guild affiliation, and the ability to mail or chat with a player met in the wild is always nice. I almost attacked someone when I went to peek at their portfolio myself, and again when I doing some hero realm fighting....

So not a big fan of one click fighting.. if you are going to attack someone it shouldn't be by accident

The size and method of Guild contributions should be left entirely up to the player.

I fully agree with you on that part. I regularly checked people that were in my level range for attacking BEFORE attacking them due to the huge power level disparities. Now it's a real game of chance. I won't say that I completely dislike it but I will admit it is highly inconvenient because I really don't want to be running around attacking people unless I know my power level will be able to match them in battle.
