No way of knowing if someone is online, or at the keyboard

Is it only me who thinks that one of the things that is sorely lacking is somehow seeing if members of your guild or someone on your friendliest are online. But there is always the problem that you can put your character to train and leave the computer, but i honestly think that can be solved by adding an AFK feature that allows you to click it and it shows on friends list and guild. One problem that occurs with not being able to see this, is if you are trying to have an active guild, you cant enforce that people need to be online, because there is no way for you to check, this means that guilds end up with slackers they dont know if to kick, or have to only invite very verbal people.

There's always days you just don't feel like talking.

If everyone knew you were online, you couldn't really do anything in "secret" (ex: taking arena spot just before rewards come)

You can actually tell when someone is "online" and goes idle if you look closely.

If the person you are targeting is "transparent" per se, then they are idle. I've seen this happen a few times to my own toon. I'll walk away and come back an hour later and I'm transparent. Well not transparent but the characters opacity on the screen is lighter. Same with people who idle in the wild. I've come across people who were idle there and appeared slightly transparent and sat there watching and waiting for them to move again. Once they started moving again their character returned to its full color?

Anyway check it out next time you are online and are wondering if someone is idle.
