host left the server

Hello. this is not a complaint, but my guild is not able to advance because our host left without appointing any vhs or giving up the position. Is there any remedy? I am not a paying player yet, but there are many in the guild marauders in the forest realm of the Poseidon server that are going to be out of a lot of benefits.

We do not want to replace him, but having a vh or 2 will allow us to proceed with advancing.

You get the option for a second VH at guild level 3. I'm not entirely sure how the upgrading works with guilds because I've only ever been a member, but if certain guild functions can only performed by the host, an absent one could mean your guild will stall.

I know it wasn't what you wanted but it might be better to forgo the contributions already made and just start a fresh in a new guild.

There's no way you can promote anyone without the host, so leave the guild, and start a new one

This is the way I'll do it, not like you have a lot of choices :/

is it possible for you to check the records of the previous vice host in the guild and let him rejoin the guild?
if everyone in the guild agrees to let him in?

He can't. We don't work for Tynon and just are volunteers who help moderate the forum.

@ OP I'm afraid in your case a thoughtless host left you all in the lurch without bothering to relinquish his/her position before moving on. In your best interests, time to draw a line under it and start a new guild.

We can track IPs (forum only) but emails, no. If you know what server he relocated to, see if one of you can contact him/her there and ask them to relinquish the host. Other than I really don't know what to suggest.
