My level 13 sword with two level 3 gems has disappeared!!

I was swapping swords between heroes so I placed one sword on the storage area on the right and it just disappeared!
I am so ticked! My guy had to fight in the arena and boss fights without a friggin' sword!
I know it hasn't been accidentally sold because no extra coins showed and there was no confirmation asking if I wanted to sell.
Just to clarify, it disappeared on my heroes tab, not at the bank.

I've tried refreshing and using using different browsers and it still isn't there.

edit: okay, sorry for the dramatics but the sword is now showing in my blacksmith tab with no owner. But it still doesn't show in my heroes tab even after clicking the "sort all" feature--and I already tried checking the second page of storage in the hero tab too.
I still have it but can't use it. Please help--thanks!!
