That is partly true, good edit.

EXCUSE ME, but my pride has nothing to do with it at all.
Please refrain from anything like a personal attack in replies. If you do so then your replies will mean something.

FAILURE would still happen. In fact THAT could be increased and I wouldn't bat an eye.
BUT taking away levels I have already attained is NOT, in my opinion, a good way to make the players happy.
If a player has to spend several hundred dollars just to get enough stars to reach level 7 then he's being ripped off.
Maybe that player doesn't see it, but that IS what is happening when they buy stars with gems and the upgrade fails.
And fails again. And yet again. And again
    To me, it's wrong.

Someone earlier in this thread suggested that the few stat points gained made no difference.
Then why do it at all?
If they are so useless, why bother?
Oh wait. They are useful. Because those stats get improved by levels gained, sanctification and runes.
Suddenly those 1 point gains start looking like 10-12 point gains.
And those gains make a HUGE difference.

High stars levels are meant for those who can afford them.

If you can't, focus on something else.

High star levels really do cost hundreds if not thousands of dollars.

It's your choice if you want or can shell out that much.

Since there is no insurance, fails so high, and costs so much overall.... raising stars, at least for me, has stopped. There are many other places to spend gems that are necessary and yield better results. Frustration level trying to star up is just not worth throwing good money after bad.
    lol
ur talking alot of *CENSORED*, u cant go down to 1 star if ur higher then 4 stars already.

You clearly misunderstood him, he meant lost 1 star, not finished at 1 star.

The guild chest are pre-determined also. After you click on it, notice what are the choices then close the box. Open it again and 1-2 will be the same. If more than 1 are the same close and open a 3rd time. What is still the same is what you will get when you "shuffle".... This is the case 99% of the time.

Dude not the thread to bring that up. There was a thread dedicated to that not that long ago.

Unplug your modem, try adding stars... if it succeeds reconnect modem, refresh and add your star, if it fails reconnect modem and you still have all your medals and you haven't lost any previously added stars. Try other heroes. Eventually you will have to bite the bullet and lose if you want the pre-determined failure to clear , by no means is any chance at anything random in this game, accept that fact and you will be better off. Unplugging modem only helps you avoid losing stars previously gained by letting you know the outcome that will occur on next attempt, so you can decide if it is worth it to you to lose the star for a different chance after the failure. You can also unplug modem to determine which destinies are in labs and so forth , so you can avoid that box upon re-plugging and refresh. Also the thing that wasn't mentioned in above posts is once you hit 4 , 7, or 10 stars you will not go below those levels no matter how many fails you have , so take comfort in that. Good luck and good pre-determined sequences to you.
