Lightbulb Idea: Improve the rune shop, by getting rid of the junior rune keeper!

Out of genuine human frustration, and wondering, "THERE HAS TO BE A WAY TO GET RID OF THIS "JUNIOR RUNE KEEPER"!".

I HAVE A SOLUTION: Just as the title to this thread has mentioned, the solution is as easy as, "deleting" the Junior Rune Keeper's role at Tynon's Rune Shop entirely. "Who needs him?!" He is, "the worst of all five rune keepers".

By achieving this idea, we would be making Tynon "a more exciting game", in that, we will not always be getting "Trance", "Mountain", "Guildmaster", but instead, "the more exciting runes that provide us, the "upper level" runes, and other runes such as is needed for "critical", "hit", "block", and so on, that "every" Tynon member needs to defend their selves, and/or to play a more aggressive game.

So the excitement comes from "improved rune dispersal", and "watching the excitement of random "blocks" and "misses" because of the "better runes"."

Lastly, "Why should we spend all of those Coins for runes that we are not looking for? Wouldn't it be more exciting to look forward to spending those Coins for runes that we really do want and need?"

    With Respect,

    TynonTiger

I disagree. Making uncommon runes too common is bad. You lose excitement when things are too easy.

If anything like I've suggested before, make summoning the rune keeper much cheaper than it is today. $20 (200 gems) to summon him is insane. Any more than 10 gems, MAYBE 15 is honestly highway robbery.

I have another way that you can improve it. make it so that every time that you get the Rune keeper you get a purple rune or better. I am getting tired of getting blue runes from the keeper.

I would support that change, so long as they keep the rate of getting to the keeper the same. I agree it's obnoxious to be successful in getting there, then receive junk.

Have you looked at how many and what type of runes the top players have? Do you want everyone to be the same?

People keep asking for new content, complaining that the game is unfinished and they have nothing else to do, yet they ask that the game be made easier.

Ideas like this are what proves not everyone can be a game developer. Doesn't make sense.

    To Klepto:

You seem to like the idea of paying "Gems" for Runes. I'll disagree with you completely, with all due respect though.

QUESTION: "Why spend Gems of Runes, if you do not have too?"

    SOLUTION: "Be cheap, use Coins."

WHAT YOU SAID WAS TRUE: "Making uncommon runes too common is bad. You lose excitement when things are too easy."

BUT THAT IS NOT WHAT I AM PROPOSING: I am trying to add excitement to the game by making the Rune combinations more interesting. But not to the point of making all of the Runes "common", that would take the fun out of the game.

ALSO, "Why have 5 Rune keepers, when 4 will do?"

We require 5 rune keepers because costs must remain low for beginning players so they can obtain runes easily, and also because there has to be ample opportunity to receive "junk" runes. Without that, players progress too fast and things stagnate.

I never said I actually like the idea of paying gems for runes, just that if the feature is to be there at all it's too expensive as it is currently implemented, given what you receive for your (current) 200 gems.
