Guild abuse and dominating servers

I know this runs throughout the servers, so I don't think I'm alone here. One (or two) guilds are so powerful that they dominate the server. What I mean is that take something like GWs. The dominate guild creates Alt guilds, builds them up, then strategically overwhelmingly outbids other guilds. Hence, the dominate guild then is defending (all available) cities against their own weaker Alt guild. This pushes the other guilds out of play.

It's gotten so bad that the dominate guilds create taunting Alt guild names (such as c$*kblocker) with toon names along the same theme. I don't know the answer, but as of now, I loathe to even play anymore. Chances are if I play and try to, say, Sail - I'm dead meat from the dominate guild and get some 50-million+ knucklehead slappin' around my 5-million+ butt just to get my daily assists. Yea, sure, I can hear the response: "...well, increase your VIP, dump more money..." or "...welcome to PvP noob..." or my favorite "...that's for xyz-player revenging me..." Nice. Yeah, right. Dumping more money won't get me across the ocean and it certainly won't help our guild bid on GW.

So, with the complaint - a solution? Merge servers? Moderate the abusing guilds? I'm not sure without sounding Socialist. There has to be a solution and I ask for recommendations.

I hate to agree with the change server option, but yes have all of their competition leave the server and leave them to a dead unplayable field. They will realize that in order for a game to be playable...you actually have to play and compete. leave them all alone. On the other hand. I saw suggested a 3 city limit within GW's to prevent OP guilds from gaining total control. This could work, but i would extend it to 5. Make being successful actually count for something,

Very good point. I didn't consider this before. I've never changed servers, but my guess is I can't take my toon with me. Thank you.

This forum is General Discussion and I'm asking for discussion and requests for solutions. I did not accuse anyone of cheating, I accuse them of being abusive and dominating the server and certainly, billing support could really care less. Wow, touchy.

Actually what you are doing is accusing every top guild on all servers of violating TOS. Which is against forum rules. You said what happens is the dominate guild creates alt guilds. SO that is a pretty broad generalization and accusation of TOS violations since ALT guilds implies Alternate accounts which are TOS violations. And you made the accusation so broad that you are accusing alot of players. This thread needs closed. It is rude and demeaning to top guilds across all servers

That's a far cry from you stating that I'm accusing them of cheating. Feeling guilty? Feeling there is too much information that I'm disclosing to feel comfortable? Please do not get me wrong, I'm in a top guild; however, we also are not blind to see exactly what you describe as being violations of the TOS. Please show me in the forum rules where it states that I cannot voice my concern over what I perceive as being abusive and dominating behavior from MANY top guilds. I never accused a single Guild or player of this - but if the shoe fits.

It appears to me you want me to shut up - which I will not do. I have seen 2 x suggestions which have been OT - I do not see where you are contributing to the discussion.

Read the forum rules - accusing anyone of cheating or violating TOS is not allowed. And that is what you are doing. Perhaps you should re read your original post. YOu did accuse all top guilds of TOS violations. And since you are in a top guild then you accused yourself and all your guildmates.

And I think we're done here, since tempers are starting to flare. This is a legitimate issue in some cases but my advice would be to report this to Customer Support.
