    Dualing grounds/Test area

    A proposal I heard today and found interesting is to have a dualing area where we can test our heroes and their skills/hidden capabilities.
    This could be an area where you can test your heroes unlimited by pvp rules, even without your main in the formation.
    The 10 pvp attacks hardly give enough of an impression to know what the heroes are all about.

    In other words;
    It would be nice to have an area where you can go to test your hero against others.
    No rewards, no stamina, unlimited testing with another servermate or even people from different servers.
    Anything a little more flexible than what we can use at the moment would be very nice.

    Arena does not cut it as a good ground to test, at least not for me at this moment since the powerdifference is too big.

    While this idea has some merit, I'd rather see them fix the multiple 'glitches' the present game has. CWF threw in so many it's not funny!!! And, it had problems before that that haven't been addressed.

    Don't think its a good idea at all this game is already too open you can see rune level, heroes, blacksmith lvl everything but their formation which determines the winner most of the times. Now if you will be constantly testing you can find the weakness easily in players. We already know what each hero does and what runes do so you need to use your brain and use that information against players you wanna beat not be constantly trying everything against them and then see whats best. Some players are smarter than others and if this is introduced that won't count for anything then

    You don't really know GW till you play outside servers 1-10

    I imagined it as two players going into this area. One challenges the other, the other accepts, and then they fight. This way those who want their form secret don't have to give away their secrets and others could still test their form against friends.

    It would be nice if it werent another player and maybe a smart NPC with a player set, that changes Form each time its beaten.

    Another possibility is to set it up like a training ground, you go in and select which hero/heroes you wish to include in your formation, you then select a hero/heroes to fight with certain abilities, runes, saintings, etc.. etc... So you are not facing a specific player and could try working on say a bloodstorm vs bloodstorm or vampyra vs rhize etc...as a way to learn how to best set up your formation against another's formation based on their heroes to create the best outcome. It would be a rather large interface to construct, but one I would really appreciate and a great way to spend time in the game where you would otherwise be standing around between events.

    Yes...
    Npc's which you can put in a certain formation to test yours against would be great.
    Maybe all the options could be included, but a test area just for players to try out their stuff, would not create a big interface;
    - Option to test on a player
    - Option to test on a NPC selected formation

    It could be done by going down the stairs in the city.
    Would be nice to also have the opportunity to chat with other servers, or even see their practice fights.
