GIFT CERTIFICATES FOR TYNON MEMBERS

When Holidays, Birthdays, or any other day seem to be appropriate, it would only seem that Tynon would allow us the opportunity to buy someone some "Gift Certificate Gems". After all, for $4.85 someone can by 50 Gems! Personally, someone I know is a young Tynon player who has very positive expressions, such as, *grins* and *giggle*, and she is the natural sunshine that everyone needs from time to time. Unfortunately, Tynon, as far as I know, does not allow anyone to purchase gift certificates for other players. All someone would have to do is, to "Designate" to whom I wanted them to go to. So if I click on "Buy Gems", that before "ANY" sale is made, that the opportunity to buy them for someone else is an option, such as another button, which would probably say, "Gift Certificates". AND, maybe the optional message of who it is from. Thus, this idea seems to be a way to "increase the joy in people's lives", which would encourage more people to buy Gems for other people. Lastly, this would increase the sales and profits for uCool, Inc.

In closing, "It is Very American, to show Heart & Generosity." And for people to be allowed to do something for someone else, that will bring them more happiness and joy, which helps to fulfill what our founding fathers referred to as, "the pursuit of happiness", which would only seem to be "Very American".

It will be interesting, to see who takes a stand against this idea then.

The only thing that can be done is for the player to start the purchase process. Once the screen where you enter the method of payment appears have them send you the url. Then you can complete the purchase. This in no way compromises her account or your payment information.

Ok, "What if someone wants it to remain, "Anonymous"?" So you can't be asking someone for the URL. Also, "Not many people are going to think of your solution." They do not know things that well about Tynon/Billing, and they are not that "technically minded". What people need is, "A user friendly interface." That would probably mean redesigning the Buy Gems window, but that is not a difficult thing to do. Your solution will result in, "As few as Gems as possible being bought." (People are not going to think of it.) My solution will result in, "As many Gems being bought as possible." (Because it is made "as easy as possible"), and, the idea could be announced through the Tynon Development Team's patch reports, so to reach as many people as possible, and for the best results as possible.

CONCLUSION: My idea is still "a valid idea", and therefore is "credible". Your solution is "beyond the normal understanding of practically 100% of the Tynon members." So your idea is being, "respectfully rejected".

I did not say that the idea of gifts certificates was wrong. I am all in favor of it. What I said is that the procedure that I posted is the only way that it can be done today.
