I had two blue heros. They were both Angel V with 7 stars each. I wanted to take Thucydides out and keep Mehvidan in. I didn't want to waste all that investment so I thought I would transfer some of the stars over. I paid the 5 million coins. I ended up with a Thucydides that had lost everything as expected. What was unexpected for me was having a Mehvidan that was Angel II and 6 stars. I really feel I got ripped off. I thought it must be a mistake or glitch. I sent in a support ticket and the response was in essence: this is what happens when you don't pay the gems to do a perfect transfer. Be more careful in the future. I had two useless heroes and was forced to switch them both out with heroes that were not ready to go into the formation. I had a huge drop in power and paid a fortune for it. If a transfer will not have any positive effects and will only harm a hero it should not be allowed. This should be a positive thing NOT negative.
Those stars I lost were paid for before the no loss change so I had to pay for them over and over again. My compensation was two blue medals. That didn't begin to cover the losses. Then to lose them all was painful. To add insult to injury I bought 20 stars Friday and only 12 of them worked. Saturday I got my 20 stars from free star Friday and all 20 failed. I spent about 27 million credits today on Tavern Tuesday trying to get some cards for the new heroes I had to add earlier than planned and got two of them. One from tavern and one from redeeming the spirits. Way too much! I am reluctant to try and get these heroes sainted and starred since they are not ones I would put on a dream team. Without sainting and starring they are not going to advance my game.
I will not be spending any more real life money on this game. I was looking at the expense as an investment in my long term fun. Now that I know better I will be looking for something else to do when these heroes no longer get the job done.
