Power Losses in Hero Trades: The Numbers Do Not Add Up

On January 14th I won King Theseus in the Casino, and was quite pleased on my 2nd 100 chips spent. I was looking forward to making a trade with him with one of my heroes. As it turned out I chose Rhize as the one to go, and I proceeded to make notations on the progress of that trade.

But to my amazement, I suffered a Main Power Loss. "How could this be?" "King Theseus's attribute numbers were greater than Rhize's, every single number was better than his! So how could I be losing power?"

So I decided to do a "Comparative Study" in order to see what the problem is, and the result was... "There are no explanations as to "Why?", I or anyone else, should be losing power when acquiring "a more powerful hero"."

In the table below, you will see the exact "attribute numbers" as they are currently expressed, if you go to the Card Broker, and then click on "view cards", and then click on the specific hero for King Theseus, and Rhize. You will find that my numbers are "exact and true". Therefore, "I can clearly show, that based on the attributes, that we should be "gaining in power" and not losing in power, because as Common Sense , Logic, and Reason would conclude... "That the greater the attributes that a hero has, that therefore, the greater the power that hero should be." With that in mind, when you get to the bottom of the table below, please notice the "increase in percentages" that King Theseus has over Rhize. Given that, "How could Tynon ever conclude that King Theseus is the weaker hero and therefore whoever acquires him should lose power?" This makes no obvious good sense at all. What are they thinking about?

The Heroes and their respective attribute numbers are listed below. Think of the table as being in "two parts", thereby you can have a comparison. And at the bottom of the table, the numbers for Rhize and King Theseus are "attack" and "defense" numbers, and the appropriate percentage increase in attack and defense power for King Theseus over Rhize.

Lastly one minor point, the only difference between the two, other than their attribute numbers is, (1) Leader Card for Rhize, which is a +840 Magic Defense. And we all know that defensive things do not add that much power. Therefore, "The appropriate power increase because of King Theseus's greater numbers, "is never manifested at all". So in closing, I put Rhize back into formation because, his maximum power (Critical) was 180k in Power, and King Theseus's maximum power (Critical) was 140k in power. And I used all of the same Equipment, and the same Runes.

QUESTION: "How can I lose 899,082 in Power, if King Theseus has 65% more attack abilities, and he has 149% more in defense?"
    __________________________________________________ ___________________

1 As a footnote, the only difference between Rhize and King Theseus, is Rhize's (1) Leader Card, which is +840 Magic Defense. So the point here is, (1) Leader Card does not make up for the 899,082 in power that I lost in that trade, and everyone knows that defensive things do not attribute that much to the overall main power rating.

there is a penalty for for all skills that is deducted after the damage calculation. the retaining morale skill and the hitting of three targets on the same row of theseus translates into penalties on total damage and critical on all attacks. rhize got 1 penalty and theseus 2 penalties to deal with (same reason why for example scipio is extremely weak).

this is just one of many reasons why you should not look at your power. power itself is just a rough scale to see where you stand compared to other players.

ps: also, some runes will add more or less power to different heroes and all heroes have different "base values" they are calculated by

Ascension does less damage than piercing thrust, thus less power.
Im not sure the exact percentage less but its somewhere around 60%
So would make sense KT would give you less power
